3. nap
On Monday morning we had to be at the Campus College Waregem at 8:23. Everything started with a little delegation time when problems could be discussed. Fortunately, everything was fine and we were totally satisfied with everything, meaning the time we spent at our exchange students' house.
After the delegation time presentations were performed by each nation except the Italian who arrived on Monday afternoon and night.
Our presentation was finished with a traditional dance when everyone joined us from all nations.
At noon everyone had lunch together at the school cafeteria. After lunch we had a little city tour with the Belgian students.
The afternoon programme contained a speed-date when we could get to know each other better. Basically, there were tables and 4 students could sit at each table.
Firstly, we had to make an ID without our names that listed our hobbies, the activities we prefer to do during our free time, the connection between us and literature, or our habits. These IDs were mixed and our task was to find out who's ID card is the one we got.
After the game we went to the train station to welcome the first group of Italians.
In the evening we prepared typical Hungarian food like cottage cheese flavoured with salami or sausage, or Hungarian style buttercream topped with salami and red onion. It was a huge success! The Belgian delegation made waffles with several toppings while the Italians brought focaccia with pesto, and some cookies. And last but not least, the Romanians brought some special chocolate and sweets.
