Today we visited one of the most famous Italian cities,Venice.

As usual we started the day at the school in Udine from where with a private bus we traveled to the floating miracle. There we were divided into 2 groups with each Italian students and went to our first stop, the Jewish Ghettto. Our guides explained the structure the origin and the history of this area. And then we went to a rooftop with amazing view in the German trading house (Fondaco dei Tedeschi). After which we visited the Rialto bridge. Due to the fact that it is illegal to eat in the streets we searched for restaurants where we tried out the delicious Italian cuisine. The main attraction of the trip was the Basilica di San Marco in the San Marco square. Here we spent an hour just admiring the beauty. The last stop of our cisit was in the "Academia di Belle Arti di Venezia". Fortunately on the way back to the bus we had the chance to try out the ferry.

This was truly a special day for all of us even though it was very tiring.
