We started this day very early since we had to catch the train to be able to go to Katowice. On the train we met an elderly couple from Ukraine who had already integrated into Polish society, luckily we could exchange thoughts in russian. We arrived to th station and went straight to the ,,Slaska Library". The library was as impressive on the outside as in the inside. It's automated storage and book delivery system fascinated us enormously. Our guide showed us the breathtaking antique books about medicine, philosophy, geography and anatomy. Besides these items they also have a section of books and language courses for ukranian war immigrants, who had to leave their country due to their unfortunate position. Not to mention the ukranian centre which helps these people to find jobs, providing kids with education and library to help them blend in with the polish society. We finished the day off with a traditional polish dish after we visited the most famous sights in Katowice
