On 5th of December 2024, we visited a lot of places. After an amazing breakfast we went on an interesting Spanish class. First off we revised the things we learned on our previous lesson such as greetings, goodbyes, expressions and numbers. Then we moved on to studying foods, colours, months and seasons. After that we participated in an interactive task that took place in the Museo de Patrimonio Municipal. These activities included taking pictures of various paintings and sculptures and we also had to dig deep into the history of the museum. Moreover we looked around the castle of Alcazaba, where we could see the internal space of the building. As soon as we arrived back to the hostel, we ate a great lunch and we took a little rest. Later on we spent some time in the Plaza de Toros la Malagueta where we could peek into a picture exhibition about the life of the locals around the 80s. In the evening we had a chance to watch the so called Flamenco Show, which is an traditional Spanish dancing performance. The last program of the day was a relaxing walk around the city of Málaga, where we ended up in the town hall. There was a fascinating demonstration about the daily life of the citizens leading back to the birth of Jesus Christ. We also tried well known Spanish foods, like cheeses and the common Christmas dessert called Turrón. As we headed back to the hostel we noticed a shop that sold a famous Argentinean street food known as Empanadas. We all tried different flavours and everyone was very satisfied with it. Around 10 pm we came back home safely and ended the day with a delicious meal. In our opinion, it was marvellous opportunity to educate ourselves and experience the Spanish cultural life a bit more.
